Fundraising for the trees!

Michelle Parkes ·

We are very proud to support the Rainforest Trust and the incredible work they do to protect rainforests all over our amazing planet. They have protected over 40 million acres of rainforest which has led to over 2,000 critically endangered, endangered and vulnerable species protected.

They need support to keep up this amazing work. Why not help and do some fundraising for this awesome charity! Below are some ideas you can take into your school.

1. Bake sale

How about a twist on the old favourite?! Create a rainforest inspired bake sale! Make it into a competition at your school and award rainforest protection for the winners. Spiders, snakes, even a tree. Let your imaginations go wild!

2. Rainforest Mile

Get your pupils to dress up as different rainforest animals, can they walk, crawl or hop a mile around the playground? Ask them to all donate a pound to take part for the Rainforest Trust. We even have some rainforest masks you can download and print out here.

3. Hug 100 Trees

Maybe you could do a trip to your local park or even set it as a fun holiday activity for families - can you hug 100 trees for Rainforest Trust?! Connect with nature and support rainforest protection.

4. Quiz Night

Get the parents involved! Why not hold a rainforest quiz night for families or parents? Pull together lots of rainforest facts and charge a fee for everyone who attends. Raise money and raising awareness at the same time.

We'd REALLY love to see you photos! Tag us on social @earthcubs so we can enjoy and share!
