Celebrating Earth Day
Michelle Parkes ·
Running for over 50 years, Earth Day’s mission is to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. It’s a chance for millions of adults and children all over the world to unite and create an inclusive movement for change. All those voices added together are impossible to ignore.
Earth Day has three days of climate action planned. From global youth climate summits to Global Education Summits covering the role that educators play in combating climate change. You can find out more by visiting their website. Their theme this year is Restore our Earth. They will be covering natural processes, emerging green technologies and innovative thinking.
Climate and environmental literacy is a vital educational tool to help tackle climate change. At Earth Cubs our vision is to become the most entertaining environmental learning company in the world. We want to make planet saving exciting, entertaining and achievable.
We uniquely link learning to real world planet saving. With the Earth Cubs badge system, kids playing our app protect REAL trees when they earn a badge in the game.
We want children to recognise why it’s important to care for the environment. To realise that they can make a difference in the world.
