Earth Cubs are so terribly proud to not only have been nominated, but to have WON a Bett Award! We came out top in the Free Digital Content or Open Educational Resources category. We were also blown away by the judges feedback:
The judges commented that this project was a well-tailored resource that appeared high end and thoughtful. It presented the ideas of Earth care and environmental education in a fun and exciting way that engages learners while avoiding most of the politicisation that can occur around the topic. The resources are well developed and generate a balanced view of ecology. The judges were particularly impressed by the ambition shown by the resource to maintain its “free” nature while partnering with organisations that are truly committed to the values of environmental education.
We were all so proud already just getting to the final, but to win a Bett award feels incredible. It recognises all of the hard work and dedication from our amazing team, who are hell bent on inspiring kids and supporting teachers and parents. Thank you to all the team at Bett, and besa, and of course the judges for saying such lovely things about Earth Cubs!
